Arsenal hit by Takehiro Tomiyasu and William Saliba injury dilemma during clash vs Sporting CP
Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has been substituted with a suspected injury in the first-half of their Europa League second-leg clash against Sporting CP. The Japanese defender fell to the ground shortly after overstretching for a tackle on Sporting's Francisco Trincao.
Arsenal have been dealt a second injury blow as William Saliba had to be substituted in the first half against Sporting CP with a suspected muscle injury in his lower back. The French defender was taken off following Granit Xhaka's goal to open the scoring and give the Gunners a 3-2 aggregate lead in the tie.
Mikel Arteta's side eventually were dumped out of the competition following a defeat on penalties, ending their Europa League campaign.

Kiwior interview
Arsenal January signing Jakub Kiwior has opened up about his decision to leave Serie A side Spezia for north London during the winter window.
“There were lots of reasons,” the Polish international told the club's official website when quizzed on his decision to swap Italy for England.
“The league for one. I knew Arsenal were a huge club and it’d be a big challenge for me, but ultimately, you have to rise to these immense challenges.
“Arsenal are a great club, that was apparent when I saw the training complex, the stadium. Pretty much everything off the pitch is top quality. Also the fans."

Ten Hag dig
Manchester United boss Erik ten hag has bizarrely taken a swipe at Arsenal regarding their injury record this season.
"Only in one game could I say, ok I can pick my team, also from a tactical approach, that was perfect," the Dutchman said when discussing United's injury and suspension woes this season.
"That was against Man City at home. And that was the only time in this season.
"In other times, in every game, it was one player suspended, one player is injured or [has] illness, so we have to deal with it well but of course you hope, like I see with Arsenal, that they almost have all the time their squad available."
