Arsenal breathed new life into the Premier League title race by beating Newcastle 2-0 at St James' Park on Sunday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta's side are now just a point behind leaders Manchester City in the table, although they have played a game more. The Gunners must win their remaining Premier League fixtures if they want to keep the pressure on Pep Guardiola's champions.

Sympathy for Odegaard
Micah Richards believes Martin Odegaard, who scored at St James' Park on Sunday afternoon, would've be crowned the Premier League's Player of the Year if Erling Haaland wasn't around. The City striker has scored 35 league goals this term.
Writing in the Daily Mail, Richards insisted: "If it hadn't been for Erling Haaland, Arsenal's captain would be odds-on for Player of the Year."
Richards added: "He reminds me of David Silva in so many ways, with his quiet authority and leadership. You wouldn't know David was in a room sometimes, but on the pitch he made you follow him through his brilliance and that is what Odegaard is doing - 15 goals from midfield (and not one penalty) is just exceptional.

Jorginho's rallying cry
Jorginho has urged his Arsenal team-mates to give everything between now and the end of the season. He told reporters: "I will be honest with you, I am not watching their [City's] games - because if we don’t win here, it doesn’t matter.
"As long as we are winning, we are doing our part. At the end, we are going to see what happens. We don’t know what will happen. We know what we can do and we need to focus on that. Then they have their things to do and they have things to think. That’s it."

Guendouzi set for PL return
Matteo Guendouzi could return to the Premier League in the summer, with West Ham and Aston Villa both interested in signing the former Arsenal midfielder. Guendouzi, 24, made 82 appearances for the Gunners between August 2018 and August 2020.
The Frenchman has impressed at Marseille and could reunite with former Arsenal manager Unai Emery, who is now in charge of Villa. Yet the Gunners may benefit if Guendouzi joins West Ham, as that could open the door for Declan Rice to move to the Emirates.
