Arsenal are already planning for their summer recruitment as they attempt to wrap up the Premier League title.
They maintain an eight point lead over Manchester City at the top, albeit they've played a game more than their rival. Mikel Arteta's side are about to embark on a difficult set of fixtures, that could come to define their season as they eye a first title since 2004.
Those at the Emirates have also begun to identify possible targets as they look to add further depth to their squad ahead of a return to the Champions League. Arteta has worked with limited options this term and is looking to add more quality, especially in midfield.

Arsenal in battle for Mac Allister
The Gunners are among a quartet of Premier League sides to be eyeing a move for Brighton's World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister. The Argentine is one of several players to make their name at the Amex and, as a result, is attracting plenty of attention.
Brighton are targeting a European spot this term but could face a battle to keep hold of their star men come the summer. The Seagulls have been willing in the past to cash in on their top players if the price is right and a bidding war could be on the cards.
TyC Sports report that Mac Allister is a serious option for United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool with several of those clubs wanting to bolster their midfield options. Arsenal recently failed in their efforts to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton.
Turner on Arteta
Matt Turner is Aaron Ramsdale's understudy at the Emirates but has hailed the influence and support of Arteta, who continues to back the American.
The majority of his minutes have come in the cup competitions, but that has still limited his outings. Nevertheless Turner has always felt the support of his manager and benefit from the demands that come from a league leading outfit.
He told the Irish Examiner: “I think one of my favourite qualities about him is that he always has my back. No matter what I do on the pitch, you know, he’s gonna have my back because he knows I work really, really hard. I try my best every single day. And it’s easy to play for a guy like that, no matter how demanding he is. You know, you put yourself out there and you try to make his ideas come to life. And he’ll always back you up.”
Wright ready to get "excited" after Reds test
Arsenal are eyeing a rare win at Anfield to keep their title hopes on track. Liverpool has not been a happy hunting ground in recent years, losing 4-0 to the Reds last term. Defeat this season could allow City to close in on them, but three points will edge them closer to the title with Ian Wright citing the importance of the trip to Merseyside.
He said on the Wrighty’s House podcast : “I think Arsenal have the energy and the capabilities to cause Liverpool problems. It’s a question of how long we can sustain it at Anfield because that’s not something we’ve done for a while there. Can we sustain the pressure you need so Liverpool don’t go bang, bang, bang? That’s what I’m excited to see.
“If we can beat them – which I think we can – then I’m starting to get very excited. I’m excited as it is but these are the huge games in a title race. I think Arsenal can do it, I’m confident Arsenal can do it. It’s so exciting. I can already feel the buzz around that game. With what’s going on at Liverpool, it’s the time to attack them and get them to answer some questions."
