New Arsenal signing Gabriel Jesus has joined up with his new teammates for his first training session with the club after completing his £45million move from Manchester City.
The Brazil international has been reunited with Mikel Arteta, who spent more than three years as Pep Guardiola’s assistant at City before taking the manager’s job at the Emirates Stadium. And the two linked-up once again on Tuesday as Jesus reported for pre-season with his new club.
Jesus' arrival is set to leave Eddie Nketiah in familiar position at Arsenal as he becomes understudy once again. And Manchester United could take advantage of Arsenal's interest in two players to help them avoid being outpriced in the transfer market.

Jesus begins training
Gabriel Jesus has taken part in his first training session with Arsenal after securing his move from Manchester City.
There was a Samba synergy as Jesus walked out onto the training pitch alongside fellow Brazilians Marquinhos, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes – with his new teammates sure to help the settling-in process. Arteta has already started getting his players on the ball despite pre-season training being synonymous with fitness tests and training.
And one of Jesus' new teammates is clearly hoping to catch the eye this season, with Emile Smith Rowe keen to show what he can do before Martin Odegaard returns.
Nketiah back in familiar role
Eddie Nketiah appears to be back in the role of understudy after Gabriel Jesus completed his move to Arsenal.
The 23-year-old penned a new five-year contract at the Emirates this summer after grasping the opportunities handed him towards the end of last season. But he now appears to have returned to the role he previously held as understudy to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
But if Nketiah's comments are anything to go by, he is at least up for a the battle.
United's cheeky transfer trick
Manchester United could leave Mikel Arteta furious by taking advantage of Arsenal's interest in two players to negotiate a fair transfer fee for them.
The Red Devils completed the signing of Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord on Tuesday in a £13million move, after the Dutch side previously agreed that fee with Lyon. The technique may be a ploy by United to ensure they aren't quoted outlandish figures for their transfer targets this summer, with a few extra million sure to have been added to the price had Erik ten Hag's side made the first move.
And there are fears they could do the same with two Arsenal targets, with the clubs sharing an interest in both Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez and Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.
