Arsenal's season continued to gather momentum with a win over Liverpool at the Emirates which kept them top of the table.
Bukayo Saka scored the winner in a five-goal thriller in north London, but tempers flared at one point in the match which is set to lead to an FA investigation as the two sets of players had to be pulled apart. The authorities will now talk with the match officials to decide on the relevant action.
On the pitch Mikel Arteta is refusing to talk up his side's chances of winning the title for the first time since 2004. The Gunners have won eight of their nine games thus far and are seen as the team most likely to challenge champions Manchester City, where Arteta previously learnt his trade.

Investigation possible after row
FA chiefs are set to investigate a bust-up during Arsenal ’s dramatic win over Liverpool. Referee Michael Oliver rushed over to the touchline to speak to both Arteta and Jurgen Klopp after a row on the pitch.
It is believed angry words were exchanged between Arsenal and Liverpool players as tempers were frayed with Arsenal being awarded a late penalty. That prompted Oliver to go over to the touchline and make the managers aware that one of the players was alleged to say something to an opponent.
Both managers are believed to have spoken to Oliver AFTER the game and now the matter has been referred to the Football Association. It may lead to a full scale investigation but the FA will now talk to the match officials before deciding whether to take further action.
Arteta coy on title hopes
Arteta was left calling for calm over a potential title tilt alongside Manchester City despite his table toppers beating Liverpool on Sunday evening. Despite that, the Gunners boss has cooled any talk of Arsenal ending their near two-decade wait for a Premier League title due to the current dominance of Pep Guardiola 's City.
When asked if Arsenal are ready to challenge the reigning champions by Sky Sports, the Spaniard replied: "They [Man City] are really strong, they have done that for five years and we have not done that."
Whilst Arsenal enjoyed a wonderful first period against the Reds, Arteta wasn't quite so convinced at the performance of his side. Having imparted some harsh words in the direction of his squad at the break, he was a lot more satisfied with the way his players approached the game.
Martinelli dismisses age concerns
Gabriel Martinelli claims the age of this Arsenal side is irrelevant, citing the group's desire to win and claim silverware. Much has been made of the youthfulness of the Gunners team.
The club made a concerted effort to lower the age profile of the side and their young squad is now overcoming challenges against the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham. Martinelli, who scored against the Reds, does not see their age as relevant however.
He told Sky Sports: "I think it is the character of everyone, your age doesn't matter. I think it is your heart and how much you want to achieve in football, in life and I think everyone wants to win." He also added: "We need to keep going because the season is long and we want to achieve big things."
