Eden Hazard has suggested he may quite like to join Arsenal.
The Belgium forward looks set to leave Real Madrid this summer after falling down the pecking order in Spain and has been linked with a return to the Premier League with Chelsea and Arsenal both said to be monitoring his situation. And his past comments about Arsenal could hint at a surprise move to the Emirates Stadium.
It comes as Mikel Arteta has been backed after sending young centre-back William Saliba out on loan this season. Saliba arrived at the club as a highly-rated prospect but has spent the year back in his home country at Marseille – a move backed by former Gunners favourite Bacary Sagna.
And Arsenal have lost their Premier League encounter with Liverpool.

Arteta backed over move
Bacary Sagna has backed Mikel Arteta's decision to send William Salah out on loan to Marseille.
Saliba has struggled to make an impact in north London, having spent last season at Nice before being shipped out on loan yet again this term. But ex-Gunners star Sagna believes the move was the correct decision by Arteta, who he believes understands the French defender's need to play.
Saliba has impressed in France and Sagna says he can't wait to see the young defender back with his parent club next season.
Hazard's Arsenal message
Eden Hazard's previous comments could give Arsenal encouragement in their hopes of signing the Real Madrid ace this summer.
The former Chelsea star lit up the Premer League during his time at Stamford Bridge but things haven't quite worked out for him in Spain and he has been linked with leaving the club this summer. Mikel Arteta is reportedly interested in bringing the player to the Emirates Stadium – and his comments about the famous Invincibles side could hint he'd be more than happy to link up with the club.
Liverpool talking points
It was a frustrating evening for Mikel Arteta's side as Arsenal fell to a disappointing 2-0 Premier League defeat to Liverpool.
The Gunners conceded twice in the second half as Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino got the better of Arsenal's defence to seal the victory for the Reds. But there were plenty of positives for Arsenal to take from the game as they had the better of an exciting first half and Gabriel Martinelli lit up the Emirates Stadium.
The match was full of talking points.
