Arsenal news: ‘Contact’ for Paulo Dybala as Mikel Arteta plans for Hector Bellerin return

Arsenal are one of four Premier League teams monitoring a move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to ESPN. The Argentinian striker is set to be a free agent in the summer, with his contract expiring.

While the Gunners are said to have made contact with his agent, the report also claims that Manchester United and Newcastle have also recently enquired. In the background are also north London rivals Tottenham, who are said to have been in contact with Dybala for a few months.

Mikel Arteta 'planning' for Hector Bellerin return

Mikel Arteta has revealed that he is planning for Hector Bellerin to return to Arsenal next season when his loan spell at Real Betis comes to an end this summer. The 27-year-old has made 22 appearances in La Liga this season, winning a Spanish Cup in his time there too.

Answering a question about the future of the Spaniard, Arteta said: “Any player with a contractual obligation with us, both ways, is our player and is considered our player, every plan considers that possibility (that Bellerin could stay) exists and how they can fit into our team."

Bukayo Saka injury update

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that he expects Bukayo Saka to be available for Sunday’s clash with West Ham. The England international was a doubt for the game, having limped off in last week’s 3-1 win over Manchester United.

Discussing his injury, Arteta said: “Yes, hopefully, he will be fine, he had some issues in the final part of the game but he has recovered well and we expect him to be fine.”
