The relationship between Jack Wilshere and Declan Rice could help Arsenal beat their Premier League rivals to signing the latter from West Ham.
The Gunners face competition from Manchester United and Chelsea to sign the England midfielder, who has a huge price tag but has entered the final 18 months of his contract at London Stadium. The north Londoners could have an advantage in the transfer race because of Rice's friendship with Wilshere.
The Arsenal hero spent two years at West Ham between 2018 and 2020, forming a close bond with Rice which could prove vital once the summer transfer window opens.
