Aaron Ramsdale's verdict

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has delivered his verdict after the 2021-22 campaign came to an end. The Gunners narrowly missed out on a return to the Champions League but the summer signing is determined to look at the positives from the campaign.

"As the season has finished I would love to thank the fans for the season of support you have shown myself and the team!" Ramsdale wrote on Instagram. "We loved playing in front of you guys and were disappointed how it ended. We move next year, another chance to improve."

Now, the England international has taken to social media, admitting that his time in Rome has been a rollercoaster one. "Great end to a (sic) up and down season", his Instagram post read. "On to next year."
