Arsenal new kit 2022/23: Home, away and third kit photos and release date

Next season will see a continuation of Arsenal's kit deal with German manufacturer Adidas, with three brand new kits to start the 2022/23 campaign with. Images have been leaked of all three ahead of their official release dates later this year.

In April, Granit Xhaka was seen at the 'Chip Inn Fish Bar' in Islington wearing a shirt which was extremely reminiscent of the kit shown in the leaked pictures, with a distinctive red collar visible in the video. There have also been leaks of the away and third kits, with a dark blue away kit displaying the old school badge bearing a single cannon along with a light pink third strip.

Website Footy Headlines have also published pictures of the kit being modelled, and labelled them as 'official images' but nothing has yet come from Arsenal or Adidas. Here we take a look at what we know about the planned kit releases:

When are the kits released?

According to Twitter account AFCStuff, the kits will be subject to a staggered release, with the home shirt set to be unveiled on May 19 before being worn by the first team for their final Premier League match of the season on May 22, at home to Everton.

Meanwhile, the away kit will be released during the tour of the USA in July followed by the third kit's release during the Emirates Cup before the start of the season.

What do the leaked kits look like?

A tweet, also from AFCStuff, shows the three reported kits together, with the away kit on the left, home kit in the middle and third kit on the right.

How have fans reacted?

On Twitter, users have been reacting to the images, with a range of opinions on Twitter:

@RationalArsenal: The zig-zag pattern on the collar looks like someone was running out of ideas.

@enozahic10: Defo getting a top next season, love this a lot.

@Nickolition_: The first 3 Adidas home kits were absolute game changers…this one ain't anywhere near that level.

@NelZxz: Weird collar.
