Lucas Torreira’s agent is expecting the Arsenal midfielder to make his loan move to Fiorentina permanent this summer.
Torreira joined the Italian club on loan at the start of this season and he has been impressing back in Serie A.
Fiorentina have been pleased with how the Uruguayan has settled and Arsenal are ready to do a deal this summer.
And Torreira’s agent, Pablo Bentancur, told broadcaster Sport890: “Fiorentina logically want to buy him because he is playing very well.
“He has returned to having an impressive continuity and dynamism. Lucas is happy in Florence and I think they will take him, to date he is one of the most loved players by the fans.”
Arsenal are expected to be busy in the summer transfer window after a quiet January and manager Mikel Arteta has spoken about the need to bolster the squad at the end of the current season.
