Arsenal have announced changes to the process for fans to purchase away tickets for future matches. The Gunners are currently on their World Cup break, but the changes will be implanted in their first away game after the month-long pause.
The north London side will take on Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on New Year's Eve. Tickets for the match will go on sale on Friday, December 2.
Arsenal released an official statement on the changes, and the requirements it takes for fans to be able to purchase a ticket.

The Gunners said via Arsenal.com: “*IMPORTANT* Away Tickets must be used by the member assigned to the booking and cannot be passed on to another individual.
"Ticket collections will be enforced at specific games to ensure tickets are being used by the correct individuals and third-party collections will not be authorised," the statement added.
“Physical identification must be presented by those collecting tickets on the day of the fixture. ID must match the name on the booking. Photographs of ID will not be accepted.”
There had been complaints about the resale of away tickets from fans that led to an increase of prices in a high percentage of tickets, but Arsenal’s new system of how to collect an away ticket creates a bigger chance of clamping down on expensive resales.
Mikel Arteta’s side have enjoyed a great start to the season, as Arsenal currently sit at the top of the Premier League table by a margin of five points. It is due to the recent success that the demand by fans to see the Gunners live is increasing, thus making it harder to attain a ticket to a match. But, Arsenal’s changes to the ticket purchase system also creates more of an equal opportunity.
