Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has signed a new contract ahead of Saturday's clash against Nottingham Forest.
The Gunners shot-stopper, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent, has been a key figure for Mikel Arteta's side in what has been a season of promise for the North London side, despite their faltering title challenge.
Their slim hopes of winning the Premier League this season will end with defeat at the City Ground against the Reds. Forest, meanwhile, would take a huge step towards securing their top-flight status with a win.

And ahead of Saturday's game, Ramsdale has signed a new deal which is set to last until 2026 with the option to extend by a further year. After signing the fresh terms, the 25-year-old expressed his delight.
"It’s a huge amount of pride," he told Arsenal.com. "It's something you work for. It doesn't matter if you've been at the club for a month or for four years, you always want to get the next one and push on with the team.
"To get it after two years, I'm buzzing. It just means I can concentrate and keep my head down, and hopefully after a few more years I'll get another one and carry on living the dream at the football club."
Ramsdale, who has three England caps, joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in August 2021 in a deal worth up to £30 million.
