A season that very few, if any, Arsenal supporters will forget in a hurry comes to an end on Sunday afternoon.
After 37 Premier League games played, the Gunners sit second in the table and as a result have guaranteed a return to the Champions League for the first time since 2017. However, the campaign could have brought so much more as Mikel Arteta's side were on course to claim English football's biggest prize.
But having won just three from nine following the March international break, Arsenal were ultimately reeled in by Manchester City and therefore this weekend's clash at home to Wolves has very little, if anything, riding on it except for pride and the chance to end the season on a high.

It's already been confirmed that the Gunners will be wearing their new 23/24 adidas home kit and there's no better way to introduce it than by completing a league double over Wolves to bounce back from successive defeats against Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest in style.
With regards to team news, Reiss Nelson has been spotted in training this week after missing the Forest loss through illness so could be in contention to mark talk of a new contract with a start, but Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny are all unavailable for selection.
Taking into account that the experiment at the City Ground largely backfired, Arteta has the option to make changes. But with this game effectively being a dead rubber, could this cause the Gunners boss to heavily rotate and perhaps hand chances to a number of the club's most promising players?
Well, for the final time this season, football.london's Arsenal writers Kaya Kaynak, Tom Canton and Tashan Deniran-Alleyne are once again on hand to offer their assistance to the Spanish tactician. Below, they name their respective starting line-ups for the home side against Wolves.
Kaya Kaynak - Chief Arsenal Writer
There is a temptation to throw Matt Turner in for the final game of the season, and if I were Mikel Arteta I might take it. The American has been a dutiful understudy and has been overlooked on a fair few occasions this season, so why not give him a chance?
In front of him, I'm moving Ben White back to right back. The Thomas Partey at right back experiment didn't work for me, and neither did the Jakub Kiwior at left back one either. I'm moving the Pole back to centre back alongside Gabriel and playing Kieran Tierney at left back.
I would look to move Partey back into the middle though. I think his shooting from the edge of the box could be valuable against what's likely to be a deep Wolves block. Granit Xhaka has to start his final game in an Arsenal shirt, while Martin Odegaard will partner him in my team.
Up front, I'm bringing Reiss Nelson back into the team after the positive news about his contract. I'm putting him on the left and playing Leandro Trossard on the right. I think Bukayo Saka deserves a rest and after Arteta admitted he has been struggling with some fitness issues, now seems like the time to do it before England duty. Up front, it's Gabriel Jesus for me.
Kaynak's Arsenal XI vs Wolves: Turner; White, Kiwior, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard; Trossard, Jesus, Nelson.
Tom Canton - Arsenal Writer
A final match of the season with nothing to play for is where Arsenal thrive. At this stage last season with the top four out of their hands, they battered Everton in 2022 with a casualness that had frankly been absent for the run-in.
What this year's game offers though is a chance to show thanks for a surprising season in which the side competed for the Premier League title. It’s also a time for goodbyes and this suggested line-up gives the chance to allow for some ahead of the summer transfer window.
At the back is Rob Holding who could feature in his last game for the club with the need to upgrade obvious. Kieran Tierney is heavily linked with a move away too which a couple of years ago most fans would have scoffed at but now Oleksandr Zinchenko has shown just what a full-back role can do for a team.
In midfield, Granit Xhaka is almost certain to play his last game with a move to Bayer Leverkusen in the offing. Reiss Nelson and Bukayo Saka, if fit, can celebrate their new contracts and there’s a rare chance for Matt Turner to get some minutes as well.
Canton's Arsenal XI vs Wolves: Turner; White, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard; Saka, Nelson, Gabriel Jesus

For the season Arsenal have had, to lose three on the bounce - or to not win any of the last three games - just wouldn't sit right and therefore Mikel Arteta simply has to name the strongest possible team, even if there's nothing to play for against Wolves with a top-two finish guaranteed.
Clean sheets at the Emirates Stadium have been few and far between for Aaron Ramsdale this season and he'll be desperate to get one. Despite Wolves' lack of goal threat, the defence will need to perform a lot better than it has done in recent weeks and I would reinstate the same back four that started against Brighton with Benjamin White at right-back, Jakub Kiwior alongside Gabriel Magalhaes and Kieran Tierney at left-back.
In midfield, a return of the most-used trio wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. Martin Odeagaard is a goal away from being Arsenal's leading scorer this season, Thomas Partey needs a good game and it could be Granit Xhaka's farewell appearance with a £13m transfer to Bayer Leverkusen this summer on the cards.
Up front, Reiss Nelson was unlucky to miss out last weekend against Forest, so I'd look to reward his previous good performances off the bench with a start on the right instead of Bukayo Saka with Emile Smith Rowe replacing Leandro Trossard on the opposite flank and Gabriel Jesus leading the line.
Deniran-Alleyne's Arsenal XI vs Wolves: Ramsdale; White, Kiwior, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Odegaard, Xhaka; Nelson, G. Jesus, Smith Rowe
