Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is reportedly keen on the USMNT head coach role after turning down the chance to manage France women's national team.
Henry, who scored 51 goals for Les Bleus, has previous in the U.S after playing and coaching in Major League Soccer. He played for New York Red Bulls towards the end of his career before briefly managing CF Montreal in 2020.
The news comes after French federation (FFF) committee member Jean-Michel Aulas said Henry had turned down the possibility of replacing Corrine Diacre. "I personally asked [Henry] the question, but the response was not positive," he told Le Figaro.

"He was obviously very flattered that he was asked. We did it because we were told he might be interested. But it will not be Thierry Henry. I think he is moving on to other projects."
And that project could be managing Christian Pulisic and co. According to ESPN, who claim sources have claimed the 45-year-old is eager to replace Berhalter as head coach.
Berhalter left the role following the nation's exit at the World Cup. However, US Soccer said this week that he remained a candidate to return to the position after an investigation into allegations of domestic violence concluded.
Henry has already suggested his openness to taking over the USA side. Speaking to CBS, he said: "Do I know the players? Yeah, I do know the players. Do I know the league? Yeah, I do know the league.
"Would I want to be a manager at any level? Yes, of course. That is one of the things that I would like to do."
