Todd Boehly's idea for a Premier League North vs South All-Star match has certainly got people talking. Jurgen Klopp was the first person to come out and blast the Chelsea co-owner for the suggestion, while Gary Neville and Gary Lineker have since joined the Liverpool manager in their criticism of the idea.
However, back in 2011, Rio Ferdinand proposed the idea of a Premier League All-Star game on Twitter - and many people across social media have been picking their teams for if a North vs South game became a reality.
Boehly said: "Ultimately, I hope the Premier League takes a little bit of a lesson from American sports. And really starts to figure out, why don't we do a tournament with the bottom four sports teams, why isn't there an All-Star game?

"People are talking about more money for the pyramid. In the MLB All-Star game this year, we made 200m dollars from a Monday and a Tuesday."
Arsenal icon Thierry Henry has become the latest ex-footballer to slam Boehly for the suggestion and, in particular, his comments that English football can 'take a lesson' from American sports. The former France international also took a dig at Boehly after the 48-year-old mistakenly said that Kevin De Bruyne and Mohammed Salah were products of the Chelsea academy.
"Did he say 'they can (learn) a lesson?'" Henry said on CBS Sports. "What is that supposed to mean? What are you trying to teach? I prefer that word 'an example'. What are you doing to teach us?
"I don't like them (Boehly's idea) because this is Europe, and it doesn't work like that. A team goes up and down. An All-Star game, for what?! No, no. Maybe (the public will like it). But you asked me, and it's a no.
"The comment about De Bruyne and Mo Salah, just learn your own lesson, then come back and teach us something."
