Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas believes Manchester City having Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez in their side is not "very fair" to others in the Premier League.
Alvarez will return to Manchester with a World Cup winners medal after Argentina defeated France on penalties in the showpiece event on Sunday afternoon. The 22-year-old started in six out of seven matches and finished as the South American side's second-highest goalscorer behind Lionel Messi - having scored four goals in Qatar.
Meanwhile, Haaland, who was not in action in the Middle East after Norway failed to qualify for the tournament, is currently the Premier League's top goalscorer. The City forward has registered 23 goals and three assists in 18 matches in all competitions since arriving at the Etihad in the summer.

Ex-Gunners star Fabregas believes that having two in-form strikers in their squad will give Pep Guardiola's side an unfair advantage when domestic football resumes.
The Spaniard tweeted: "Manchester City with Julian Alvarez and Haaland is not very fair is it?"
Alvarez has only made three Premier League starts for the Blues since officially joining the club in the summer, but the Argentine has still scored three top-flight goals. The 22-year-old has also scored twice in the Champions League this season.
City resume their season with a Carabao Cup last-16 tie against Liverpool on December 22, but Guardiola has admitted that he is concerned about the clash due to the lack of players available to him following the World Cup.
Speaking to City's in-house media, he said: "We have no players. Four or five players [are here] so we have to see how and when they [all] come back.
"We are in a difficult [position]. We don't have players but the big brains in football made this schedule so we are going to play this game."
After the cup tie against Liverpool, the Blues travel to Leeds United on December 28 before hosting Everton on New Year's Eve.
