Arsenal has launched a new training top with a subtle nod to the unbeaten Invincibles squad. The hoodie has a small detail that celebrates the last Gunners team to lift the Premier League title.
Arsenal currently top the Premier League table after an emphatic victory over North London rivals Spurs and fans are cautiously dreaming of a first title since the unbeaten team of 2022/23.
A new training range launched by the club includes a subtle nod to Arsene Wenger's squad of 19 years ago by featuring the classic Adidas stripes in the red, white and blue colours of the French national flag. The colours could be a nod to the large number of French players who led Arsenal to the title in 2004 including captain Patrick Vieira, Robert Pirès, Sylvain Wiltord. Thierry Henry and Jérémie Aliadière.
While the current Arsenal squad boasts just one French player in William Saliba the new hoodie could be a celebration of the club's French heritage when it comes to bringing home the Premier League title.
The £75 training hoodie fittingly used French terry fabric and features a gold Arsenal badge and Adidas logo on the front, and the word Arsenal on the back. It is on sale for fans to buy now.
The hoodie is one of several new training tops launched by Arsenal this week. The club has also released a 'calligraphy' range to celebrate the Lunar New Year and it includes a re-imagining of the Arsenal badge using Chinese-style calligraphy. The calligraphy-style A badge is featured on an entire new range of training wear in time for the Chinese New Year.
The training range features Chinese-style lettering and an Arsenal badge in the style of Chinese calligraphy. The range includes a £120 bomber jacket and a £75 hoodie, £65 pants and a £45 t-shirt.
Arsenal is offering members 10% off the new training range and free delivery on orders over £100. You can see the range here.
