Arsenal hope the signing of Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira will help them land Leeds United winger Raphinha this summer.
The Gunners have struck a £34m deal to land the Portuguese starlet as they look to bounce back from missing out on Champions League football last season. The Telegraph report both Raphinha and Vieira are represented by the same agency, Gestifute, who brokered the latter's prospective deal to the Emirates.
The smoothness of the negotiations is seen as a positive, and it could mean talks between Arsenal and Leeds will proceed in a similar fashion. Gestifute is run by footballing super-agent Jorge Mendes, with Raphinha being represented by former Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder Deco.

Leeds are thought to be asking for a fee in the range of £50m to £60m for the Brazilian winger who has impressed during his two seasons in the Premier League to date. While Barcelona were heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old, their current financial situation means they still need to sell players in order to register any incoming signings.
That could scupper their chances at signing Raphinha, with the Catalan giants still needing to do plenty of salary gymnastics ahead of the new season. Liverpool were another side reportedly interested in Raphinha too, but it is unclear whether or not the signing of striker Darwin Nunez has taken them out of the conversation for the Brazilian winger.
