If the Blues find themselves in the race too, it could mean that the youngster has a decision to make over which team to join.
Arsenal have a clear advantage in this position though, given the fact they can guarantee Champions League football for next season. The side have proven they are capable of competing at the very top, while their rivals across London have suggested they will at some point, but are yet to show it.
That could be enough to tip things in the Gunners' favour, allowing for that dynamic in the transfer market to shift once again and in their favour so long as they continue to perform.
