Despite sufffering a setback in their 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace on Monday night, Arsenal are pushing for Champions League qualification this season. But concerns around squad depth have seen optimism around the possibility take a knock.
The Gunners currently occupy fifth position in the Premier League, as north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur sit in fourth on goal difference. Mikel Arteta's side do have a game in hand on the Lilywhites, but they'll need to get back to winning ways against Brighton this weekend.

Arsenal and Newcastle United target Hugo Ekitike is considering moving to the Premier League this summer, but Jeunes Footeux, via The Boot Room, reports that the striker is also attracting interest from Manchester City. The star has previously been likened to Kylian Mbappe.
Asensio interest confirmed
Arsenal are rumoured to be interested in signing Real Madrid's Marco Asensio as Arteta looks to strengthen his attacking midfield options. According to a report in the Mirror, Asensio's representatives have confirmed that the Gunners are interested in bringing the 26-year-old to the Emirates.
Osimhen makes transfer decision
Napoli forward Victor Osimhen would turn down a move to Arsenal if a bid from Manchester United came in for him. That’s according to Corriere dello Sport journalist Antonio Giordano, who claims both clubs have been keeping tabs on the 23-year-old. Previous reports have suggested it will cost £100m to prize him away from the Serie A outfit.

Arsenal have been handed a significant transfer blow in their pursuit of Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips. The Englishman has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates this summer with suggestions he could arrive as Granit Xhaka departs, but the Gunners look set to miss out on the England international with Manchester United working on a deal to secure his signature, according to reports.
