The agent of Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin has refuted claims that his client has agreed a deal with any club amid major transfer interest from Arsenal. The Gunners are thought to be keen on adding to their forward options ahead of next season, with the England international understood to be on their shortlist.
Arsenal ’s need for attacking investment revolves around the uncertain futures of their current incumbents - the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are both out of contract at the end of the season. Everton forward Calvert-Lewin has caught the eye over recent years, having harnessed his goalscoring abilities at Goodison Park, so would certainly alleviate Mikel Arteta’s current headache.
However, the England striker’s representatives 11wins have confirmed that neither Arsenal - or any club for that matter - have yet managed to strike a deal over a transfer.

Speaking with The Bobble, they confirmed: “Dominic has not agreed any deal, with any club. He is currently working very hard in training and is fully focused on finishing the season strong with Everton.”
Calvert-Lewin, now 25, has endured a frustrating season with Everton so far this term. A string of injuries has limited him to just 11 appearances in all competitions and just three goals. However, he certainly proved his abilities last term with 21 goals for his club, whilst he has also managed to score four times in 11 caps for the England national team.
Calvert-Lewin’s current contract at Goodison Park is set to run until the summer of 2025, so it remains to be seen whether the Gunners pursue a deal that is likely set to cost them a considerable amount. Apart from the Everton man, Arsenal also appear to have a number of alternative options to consider, including Benfica’s Darwin Nunez, whilst they are also reportedly in talks over the potential arrival of Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez.
