Arsenal dropped more points in the race for the Premier League title against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon as they drew 2-2 against West Ham. The Gunners led the Hammers 2-0 in the opening 15 minutes after goals from Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard gave Mikel Arteta's side an early lead.
Thomas Partey was at fault in the build-up to West Ham being awarded a penalty as he was dispossessed easily by Gunners transfer target Declan Rice, before Gabriel Magalhaes fouled Said Benrahma in the penalty box. The Algerian forward scored his spot kick - halving Arsenal's lead - with Bukayo Saka then missing a penalty in the second half.
Ian Wright and Granit Xhaka have both publicly offered support for the Hale End star and believe he will bounce back against Southampton on Friday night. Jarrod Bowen equalised for the Hammers just two minutes after Saka's penalty miss which saw the Gunners throw away a 2-0 lead and draw for a second successive match.

City will have two games in hand on Arsenal ahead of their potential title-deciding clash at the Etihad Stadium next week as they prepare for FA Cup semi-final action this weekend. Pep Guardiola's side have their title destiny in their own hands, but there is still plenty of twists and turns that could happen before the end of the season.
A potential boost for the Gunners is that City still need to face Chelsea - despite the Blues enduring one of their worst Premier League campaigns in their history. Only Tottenham (28) have beaten the reigning Premier League champions more than Chelsea in the English top-flight - winning 27 games from 51 meetings with City.
Guardiola's side are set to face the west Londoners in the penultimate week of the season and should Chelsea pick up a shock victory at the Etihad Stadium, it may set up a thrilling end to the Premier League title race. Arsenal will be hoping their London rivals can do them a huge favour as they aim to win their first title in 19 years.
