Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has been the subject of transfer interest from the Saudi Pro League, as per The Athletic.
It is claimed that Silva has received lucrative offers to make the move to Saudi Arabia, although he is said to prefer to stay in Europe instead, with both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain interested. Although the news of a key City player potentially leaving the Etihad Stadium seems like great news for Arsenal, it may bring some worries as well.
If Silva and out-of-contract captain Ilkay Gundogan do leave Pep Guardiola's side this summer, it is reasonable to assume that the Premier League champions would be keen to recruit a new midfielder in the transfer market. And one player that has been mooted as a potential target is West Ham United captain Declan Rice.
Rice is Arsenal's primary target for the summer window, football.london understands and the Gunners submitted a first bid for the Hammers star last week. football.london understands that the offer was for £80million over six years with a further £10million in add ons, with the Hammers dismissing the bid out of hand.
The north London outfit are expected to return with a second bid for the England international but they may need to move fast considering City's aforementioned midfield dilemma. Speaking on his YouTube channel over the weekend, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claimed that City have been keeping informed on Rice's situation at the London Stadium.

“As for Declan Rice, with Rice Manchester City once again asked for information on Friday for the situation," Romano said. "So, the same with Kai Havertz, Arsenal have to be fast."
