Arsenal half-time player ratings vs Juventus as Gabriel is solid but Reiss Nelson suffers blow

Aaron Ramsdale: Juve hardly got forward so the England keeper hardly had anything to do. Must have been cold. 6.

Ben White: Some nice moments where he looked as technically secure as ever. Interesting that he continues to be used as a right-back even with William Saliba out of the squad. 6.

Rob Holding: Some nice tight defending and dealt with Kean as the Italian forward tried to latch on to him. Decent on the ball playing out too. 6.

Gabriel: Could hear him above the diminished Emirates Stadium crowd and he was good on the ball. Decent threat from set pieces and did superbly in a one-vs-one duel with Kean on one of the rare occasions Juve got forward. 7.

Kieran Tierney: Got forward well and was spotted drifting in to some of the central areas. Delivery wasn't up to the usual standard though. 6.

Thomas Partey: Dealt well with the pressure at the base of the midfield and got Arsenal moving forward. A few shooting attempts went well wide though. 6.

Granit Xhaka: Got forward a lot and showed some nice flicks in the box. Will maybe have wanted to be more decisive in the final third but that's nit picking in what was a solid enough return. 6.

Martin Odegaard: Still looking good since his return from the World Cup break. Leading the team like a senior player and made things happen on the edge of the box. 7.

Fabio Vieira: A moment of beautiful technique nearly lead to a superb goal after his volley was well saved. Looked dangerous down the right as he has done in all three of these friendlies. 7.

Eddie Nketiah: Some would argue his goal should have stood, some would argue he was unlucky not to score from the resulting free kick. Others would say he should have moved better and should have taken the chance. We'll sit on the fence and go for a six. 6.

Reiss Nelson: Bright and involved in everything good Arsenal did going forward in the early stages. Combined well with Fabio Vieira on occasion and was unlucky not to score himself with a decent effort. Devastating that he had to come off with what looked like a hamstring injury. 7.

SUBSTITUTES -

Marquinhos: Came on on the left wing rather than his usual right side position. Was direct as ever and on another day his dangerous delivery could have yielded an assist. 7.
