Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has poured cold water on speculation linking Aaron Wan-Bissaka with a move to the Emirates.
The Manchester United defender looked set to leave Old Trafford this month after falling out of favour under Erik Ten Hag. The 25-year-old had started just three games this season prior to the World Cup break - one of which was the Carabao Cup fourth round win against Burnley - and Diogo Dalot had become the clear first-choice at right-back.
A number of Premier League clubs were reportedly interested in a January deal, not least former club Crystal Palace. But a resurgence in form, culminating in the brilliant performance during Saturday's 2-1 win against Manchester City, looks to have reintegrated the Englishman into Ten Hag's plans.

Links to Arsenal were only fleeting, with Mikel Arteta thought to be keen on adding a specialist right-back to a role currently filled by Ben White - naturally a centre-back. But Parlour seems to have rubbished such talk, highlighting the returning Takehiro Tomiyasu as ample back-up.
"I don’t think Arsenal need a right-back," Parlour told Lord Ping. "They have Tomiyasu, who’s an excellent player. I mean, when he first got into the side, everybody was raving about Tomiyasu. Obviously, he's had his injuries as well. But if he can get him back fit, there are two good right-backs in Ben White and Tomiyasu.
"Left backs we have Zinchenko and Tierney. So I think we are alright for fullbacks. I see Wan-Bissaka has been given his opportunity again for Manchester United, he's done nothing wrong. But at the moment I don’t think Arsenal will be going down that road."
Wan-Bissaka could be in-line to start against Arsenal on Sunday, but first faces a trip to former stomping ground Selhurst Park on Wednesday evening.
