Arsenal and England star Aaron Ramsdale has revealed that he has become engaged to his stunning flight attendant girlfriend.
Ramsdale has become one of the Premier League's top goalkeepers since joining the Gunners last summer. He has continued his fine form into the new season, keeping a clean sheet in the win over Crystal Palace before helping them to defeat Leicester last Saturday.
And to add to his successful start to the new campaign, Ramsdale has now got down on one knee for girlfriend Georgina Irwin. The couple revealed their engagement with matching posts on Instagram of the romantic moment.
Ramsdale brought Irwin into a room, with the words 'Marry Me' displayed in a huge sign. The Arsenal star then got down on one knee in front of the sign and Irwin to officially propose to her.
The couple then embraced after Irwin said 'yes', with the flight attendant flaunting a huge diamond ring. They released a series of photos of the engagement on Instagram, with both using the caption "Forever and always has a nice ring to it" along with a white love heart emoji.
The couple have been inundated by well wishers, with Ian Wright, Alexandre Lacazette and Conor Coady among those to share their congratulations. Ramsdale will be hoping to spend the rest of his lift with Irwin, who is a flight attendant with British Airways.

Ramsdale will be looking to take his new fiancée to Qatar in November for the World Cup. He looks well-placed to challenge Jordan Pickford for the number one shirt with the Three Lions.
His hopes of taking Pickford's place in Gareth Southgate's line-up will only be boosted if Arsenal continue their good form. Though the Gunners star himself admitted that it will be a tough battle.
“I’m in and around it at the moment. But things can change very quickly, especially this season; there is going to be Jordan (Pickford), myself, Sam Johnstone, Dean Henderson, Nick Pope and probably some others," he said recently.
“There are probably going to be five or six English goalkeepers trying to get on the plane so although I’m around at the moment I need to keep myself there. The people I need to impress are the manager, the coaching staff and ultimately my team-mates. If I have their trust, then I’ll have the fans’ trust as well.”
Having taken the number one shirt from Bernd Leno after his arrival at Arsenal from Sheffield United, Ramsdale is now Mikel Arteta's first-choice keeper. He is certain to start for Arteta's men on Saturday when they travel to newly-promoted Bournemouth.
They currently sit second in the Premier League, behind only Manchester City on goal difference. Aside from City, they are the only team to have won both of their opening games of the season.
