The upcoming summer transfer window presents a number of challenges for Arsenal when it comes to closing the gap to rivals Manchester City. The Gunners missed out on an unexpected Premier League title this season, but next time around there is the weight of expectation.
The balance of the squad will have to addressed, with some tough decisions over who will stay and who will go, alongside the replacements that'll join. One of the key bits of business that the side will do may have already happened as Bukayo Saka committed his future to Arsenal with a new contract.
"Great news for the club," Mikel Arteta said on Saka's new deal ahead of the clash with Wolves. "The club has done a great job with everyone who participated in that deal to make it happen. He’s a crucial player for us who represents our club in the best way possible. Hopefully there will be a few more to come."

The deal has secured the future of the right flank for yet another few more years, meaning focus can turn elsewhere while the youngster continues to shine. While that may save resources elsewhere, coming as a boost in itself, there's also further boosts in the market itself.
Before the deal was signed, CIES Football Observatory had Saka valuated at £96million in the transfer market, which was a huge figure itself. However, his value has now jumped by an extra £34million, taking that up to a massive £130million.
The 21-year-old is far from his peak too, meaning there could be yet more to come for him in the future, one that for the foreseeable looks as though it'll be in the Red of Arsenal.
