Arsenal could be without three first-team players when Newcastle United rock up at the Emirates Stadium. Eddie Howe and Co travel to the capital aiming to get back in the win column after stuttering against Leeds United.
A 0-0 draw ended the Magpies' six-game winning run, with Arsenal taking advantage hours later by brushing Brighton aside to move seven points clear at the top of the table. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard continued their rich vein of form by getting on the scoresheet in a 4-2 victory.
United are aiming to beat Arsenal away from home for the first time since November 2010, when Andy Carroll’s header snatched all three points. They must do so without three key men but, unsurprisingly, Mikel Arteta can still field a strong side.

The Spaniard has rarely made drastic changes to his line-up this season. However, two games so close together may force him to rethink. Ahead of the clash, ChronicleLive has profiled the Gunners’ injury list and given a predicted XI.
Gabriel Jesus (knee)
Jesus is enduring a lengthy spell on the sidelines after injuring his knee at the World Cup. Signed from Manchester City in the summer, the Brazilian has impressed while leading the line for Arteta.
Former Toon target Eddie Nketiah has stepped up in his absence, scoring in both post-Christmas fixtures. Newcastle were linked with the 23-year-old this time last year and he finally has his chance to shine at Arsenal.
Emile Smith Rowe (doubt)
The “Croydon De Bruyne” previously scored against Newcastle in a 2-0 FA Cup victory two years ago. Groin surgery has ruled him out since September but he could stage his long-awaited comeback on Tuesday.
Reiss Nelson (hamstring)
A hamstring strain suffered in the mid-season friendly with Juventus on December 17 will rule Nelson out of the Toon clash. Recurrent injury problems have plagued his season and, even if the winger were fit, it is unlikely that he would be on the team sheet.
Arsenal predicted XI
Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Nketiah
