Arsenal faithful brilliantly troll Chelsea with brutal Stamford Bridge chant

Arsenal fans took a swipe at Chelsea's empty seats on Wednesday night as the Blues begin to feel the full impact of their current financial restrictions. The game finished 4-2 to Mikel Arteta's side as they took a huge step forward in the race for Champions League football.

Two goals from Eddie Nketiah, as well as one each from Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe was enough to condemn Thomas Tuchel's side to defeat. The Gunners are now level on points with rivals Tottenham Hotspur who are ahead on goal difference.

The fans inevitably enjoyed their night in west London, and as expected, they poked fun at the Chelsea supporters. Under restrictions imposed by the UK government, the Blues cannot sell additional tickets, meaning there is around 10,000 fewer supporters attending each home match. As a result, only season ticket holders are allowed to attend home games.

Although Chelsea were relatively successful in the immediate period before Roman Abramovich's arrival, Arsenal fans decided to mock the Blues by claiming that they will return to hapless times at Stamford Bridge. The Gunners faithful chanted: "There's nobody here, just like the old days, there's nobody here."

Nevertheless, Chelsea fans responded by chanting about Arsenal's failure to win Europe's most elite competition. They chanted: "Champions of Europe, you'll never sing that." But Arsenal fans seemingly had the last laugh as they sung: "Where's your money gone?"

The Gunners now look forward to another huge game at the Emirates on Saturday as they host sixth-placed Manchester United. A win would almost certainly eliminate the Red Devils from the race for Champions League football but, as it always is with football, anything can happen.
