Arsenal could be interested in a move for Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane should he become available this summer, according to reports. The Gunners have been linked with the Germany international as their search for another forward player in the summer window continues.
Mikel Arteta has already looked to bolster his squad options in the transfer market, adding five new faces to his team so far. Over £100million has been spent, but that could soon increase as the side eye further additions.
football.london understands that the midfield is the current priority for a new signing before the end of the window. However, Arsenal have also been on the lookout for a versatile forward, as seen in their pursuit of Raphinha and former player Serge Gnabry.

The Gunners missed out on both, but have since been linked with more players as football.london also understands that PSV's Cody Gakpo is of interest to the club and highly admired by Arteta. The Netherlands international fits the profile of a versatile option that will cause problems for the opposition.
Another who fits that profile and has also been rumoured is Sane. The 26-year-old is yet to hit the heights of his Manchester City days with Bayern Munich, with many suggesting that could see him leave the club despite having three-years remaining on his contract.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, transfer insider Ryan Taylor believes the Gunners could look at signing Sane should he be free to leave Bayern: "It would be fair to assume Arsenal would be interested in a player of his [Sane's] quality, he’s world-class on his day and he’s Premier League proven, so I do think he’s the kind of player they’ll be looking at, but nothing concrete at the moment as far as I’m aware."
