Arsenal are expected to make a move for a winger in the near future according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
Mikel Arteta's side had been pursuing Leeds United star Raphinha but the Brazilian had his heart set on La Liga giants Barcelona instead. The likes of Bayern Munich wideman Serge Gnabry has also been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium but the tricky forward now looks likely to sign a new deal with the Bavarian-based club.
Now, Romano has claimed that he expects the Gunners to make a move for a winger in the coming days or weeks but admitted that technical director Edu is keeping a lid on who that will be. Speaking about the north Londoners on the Que Golazo YouTube channel, the Italian said: "They love and Edu loves to keep everything in a top-secret way as much as possible so we will see but I think they will go for a winger, they are looking for a winger.

He then added: "I expect Arsenal to move for a new winger in the coming days or weeks." The Gunners have already spent more than £80 million this summer, signing marquee forward Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City as well as young Portuguese playmaker Fabio Vieira, Brazilian starlet Marquinhos and veteran American goalkeeper Matt Turner.
