Arsenal may have inadvertently hinted that Martin Odegaard will be fully fit to play ahead of today's Premier League clash against Fulham.
The Norwegian international missed Thursday's Europa League 2-2 draw with Sporting CP due to illness. “I hope they do [train],” manager Mikel Arteta said when quizzed on the availability of Odegaard and Kieran Tierney, who was also under the weather earlier this week.
"Martin was feeling better and then he became a little bit worse, but hopefully he is able to train today.” Now, the Gunners' official Twitter account has posted a preview image ahead of this afternoon's match against Fulham, with Odegaard and fellow midfielder Jorginho the two players pictured.

Perhaps this is just a coincidence, but it seems unlikely that they would post an image of the Arsenal captain as a preview if he were not likely to be named in the matchday squad. Arteta may also be boosted by the return of attacking duo Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus, who have been suffering from groin and knee injuries, respectively.
Goal reported yesterday evening that the two forwards are in contention to make the matchday squad for the trip to Craven Cottage, a major boost for Arteta considering fellow striker Eddie Nketiah looks set to miss the match against Marco Silva's side.
Jesus has been sidelined for over three months after suffering a medial collateral ligament injury during Brazil's World Cup campaign back in November. Speaking about the 25-year-old earlier this week, Arteta said: "We will try not to rush him back, we will try to make a fair assessment between what he needs and when he’s comfortable.
"Everything is going well, he needs time to get himself that confident and physical state to compete with a free mind."
Meanwhile, Trossard was withdrawn after just 22 minutes of last week's match against Bournemouth after picking up some kind of groin problem, although football.london understands that the early prognosis was that this was nothing serious.
