Arsenal defender Pablo Mari has completed his temporary switch to Udinese.
The Spanish centre-back will spend the remainder of the season on loan in Serie A as he looks to secure more regular playing time.
Mari has not featured for the Gunners in any competition since the Carabao Cup win over AFC Wimbledon in September, making just three appearances all season under Mikel Arteta.
He also played in the Premier League defeats by Brentford and Chelsea in August.
Mari will be back however, with Udinese’s loan deal not containing an option for a permanent transfer.
The 28-year-old is the third first-team player to leave Arsenal on loan this month, with versatile midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles heading to Roma and striker Folarin Balogun joining Championship promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough for the rest of the 2021/22 campaign.

Mari initially joined Arsenal on loan from Brazilian outfit Flamengo in 2020, but saw his temporary spell limited to just three appearances by an ankle injury.
However, the Gunners went on to make his move permanent that summer, as they did with fellow defensive loanee Cedric Soares.
