Arsenal's pursuit of Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus has taken a twist if recent reports are to be believed.
The Gunners are interested in the Brazilian international, football.london understands that technical director Edu has held talks with the player's representatives over the last few months. However, Cadena Ser have now reported that Jesus has been offered to both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in recent days.
The report claims that his wage demands will be too high for Atletico, although Real are said to be interested in the 25-year-old after missing out on Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe. "I'm looking to see what's best for me and, above all, for my career. From Tuesday, we'll see what is the best," he said over the weekend, as relayed by Metro. Speaking to Freddie Paxton last month, Pettinati said: "At the moment, we understand all of the projects [on offer], so right now isn't the time to say anything. Things will advance after his time with the national team."
The 25-year-old is now into the last 13 months of his contract at City, who have signed fellow forward Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
