Arsenal could look to make a move for PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo in the coming transfer windows, according to the latest report.
The Dutch star met the Gunners in the Europa League last week, with Arsenal running out as 1-0 winners thanks to a controlled finish from Granit Xhaka. They meet again this Thursday (October 27), and the Dutchman will be eager to impress one of his potential suitors, with the Gunners, Manchester United and Real Madrid said to be interested in his services.
Now, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has revealed that Arsenal could look to sign Gakpo in January, though a summer move is more realistic.

He told GIVEMESPORT: "Arsenal is an interesting one because, throughout the transfer window, I think the right side of the attack was a priority position. Now, Gakpo's priority position, and preferred position, is on the left, but he can play in the centre, and he can play on the right.
"At the moment, Saka's occupying that right side of the front three just now. He would be someone that Arsenal would look at. I think it would fit the profile as well, as far as Arteta is concerned, because we know that he's trying to build a squad of young players who've got high ceilings and high potential. So it could be one that Arsenal do look at in January, potentially, but the summer is more realistically."
The news comes shortly after Gakpo himself admitted that he nearly made the move to United in the summer, something that he was disappointed about. "I was close to leaving PSV," he said. "I spoke to Erik ten Hag a few times at Manchester United. In the end, the deal didn't go through, and it was a shame."
Whether he moves to either Arsenal or United remains to be seen, but it's certainly one to keep an eye on in the future.
