Mikel Arteta could be without a number of first-team players for Liverpool's visit to the Emirates this afternoon.
The Reds travel to North London in the hope of kick-starting their Premier League campaign after a stuttering start, including four draws in seven games, sees them stand eleventh in the division.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have been the league's in-form side as they have recorded an impressive seven victories from their opening eight fixtures this term, with the sole blemish on their otherwise flawless record last month's defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

But ahead of the visit of Jurgen Klopp's side, Arteta could be forced to make some huge calls in the hours building up as he prepares to name his 20-man squad for the clash. Defender Oleksandr Zinchenko appears to be a doubt for this afternoon's fixture after missing Wednesday's training session ahead of his side's Europa League clash with Bodo/Glimt.
Despite the Arsenal manager remaining coy on the fitness issues within his squad when he was questioned by reporters on Friday afternoon, Zinchenko's suspected absence would mean he joins Mohamed Elneny and Emile Smith Rowe on the sidelines on Sunday afternoon.
But with Arsenal currently having a squad of 24 senior players, Arteta could be presented with a headache decision as he is only allowed to name a 20-man squad for Premier League fixtures.
From the 23-man squad that was named for the European fixture in midweek, it appears that one of the goalkeepers would be taken out because of how unusual it is to name two 'keepers on the bench. In which case, Estonian shot-stopper Karl Hein would more than likely be dropped seeing as though the Gunners' summer signing Matt Turner has firmly established himself as Aaron Ramsdale's backup.
However, if Zinchenko is passed even fit enough for a place in the squad, it would mean that Arteta would be forced to leave another member of his senior squad in the stands for the clash. It would seemingly be a straight shoot-out between Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu for who takes the 25-year-old's position in the starting XI, while the other one would not make the squad.
