Arsenal confirmed team vs Everton as Trossard and Jorginho start, Partey and Nketiah on bench

Jorginho maintains his place in the Arsenal starting line up for their Premier League clash with Everton. The Italian international has started the last three matches for the Gunners in the absence of Thomas Partey, but with the Ghanaian fit again there were some suspicions he could come back into the team. However, Partey remains on the bench with Jorginho carrying on at the base of midfield.

Leandro Trossard also continues his role up top for Arsenal in the false nine position. The Belgian grabbed an assist during the 1-0 win over Leicester, but there were some suspicions Eddie Nketiah may come off the bench instead.

Martin Odegaard meanwhile starts in midfield and resumes the captaincy after graciously allowing Oleksandr Zinchenko to take on the role upon the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine over the weekend.

Meanwhile Emile Smith Rowe and Jakub Kiwior are on the bench. The pair were both involved during the under-21s 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on Monday, and could be involved off the bench tonight.

Arsenal confirmed XI vs Everton - Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Jorginho, Xhaka, Odegaard; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli.
