Mikel Arteta faces the opportunity of arguably the best opponent to end their four-game winless run. Chelsea have lost their first five games under Frank Lampard and are struggling to find a goal whilst the Gunners have found it difficult to keep their opponents out and conceded 11 goals in their last four games.
Arteta has decided to rotate heavily with a number of changes in all areas of the field in the wake of the four-game streak. The back five sees a big change with Aaron Ramsdale behind the defensive four of Ben White, Gabriel Magalhães, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior coming in for Rob Holding.
Some thought Kieran Tierney might be due a start with the Ukrainian somewhat out of form. Yet Arteta has again kept faith in his former Man City colleague and trusts Zinchenko to turn his form around.

Jorginho is one of the changes to the team, coming in for Thomas Partey who struggled at the Etihad Stadium engaging in multiple confrontations when the Gunners needed calm. However, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard keep their places in the eleven.
In the forward line Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus both return but Leandro Trossard replaces Gabriel Martinelli. Arsenal have failed to win since he’s been dropped from the starting eleven and the hope will be that will end today.
Arsenal starting XI vs Chelsea: Ramsdale; White, Kiwior, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Jorginho, Xhaka, Odegaard; Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Trossard
