Arsenal have confirmed two existing players have been given new shirt numbers for the 2022/23 campaign, with the four summer additions also receiving their jerseys.
Several numbers were up for grabs at the Emirates following the departures of Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Calum Chambers and others in the last 12 months - including the No.9, No.11 and No.14. All three shirts have now been snapped up.
Gabriel Martinelli has received one of the most notable upgrades, ditching his No.35 for the prestigious No.11. The shirt has been sported by many famous Arsenal players in years gone by - including Mesut Ozil, Robin van Persie and current No.8 Martin Odegaard.
The other major switch is Eddie Nketiah saying goodbye to the No.30 for the No.14. The Gunners unveiled the England youth international as the new holder of the iconic shirt after he signed a new long-term deal at the Emirates last month.
The No.14 was famously worn by Arsenal's record scorer Thierry Henry, who bagged 228 goals across two spells to help them win two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and two Community Shields. Aubameyang was the most-recent occupant of the shirt.
"It's an important number," Nketiah told The Telegraph. "It means a lot to me... I joined the club at the age of 14. I wore No.14 on loan at Leeds, and I even lived at No.14 at one point. When the opportunity came up to take it, it was hard to say no. I know what it means to the club and the fans. It’s a nice feeling, an iconic number."

Arsenal have so far signed four players this summer - Gabriel Jesus, Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira and Matt Turner - and have handed each player a jersey. Jesus will wear the No.9 as the club's new main centre-forward, while midfielder Vieira will sport the No.21.
"I’m the No.9 - I’m a striker, you know," said Jesus at his unveiling. "I thank God every day I can be alive, and that I can play in three or four different positions, but I think my position is 9! I have come to score goals."
Brazilian teenager Marquinhos and back-up goalkeeper Matt Turner are expected to play smaller roles next term and have thus been handed the No.27 and No.30 respectively. The No.12, No.24, No.28, No.29 and No.31 are among the other shirts currently available.
Other numbers could become available before the start of the new campaign. Bernd Leno (currently wearing the No.1), Hector Bellerin (No.2), Ainsley Maitland-Niles (No.15), Nicolas Pepe (No.19) and Pablo Mari (No.22) have all be linked with the Emirates exit door.
If some of those players leave, that could see the likes of Aaron Ramsdale (No.32) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (No.18) receive an upgrade. This is all speculation, of course, and Arsenal's shirt numbers won't be confirmed until next month, when the new season starts.
Arsenal kick off the Premier League campaign on Friday, August 5 when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace. They've got friendlies against Nurnberg, Everton, Orlando City, Chelsea and Sevilla before the 2022/23 season starts.
