Bukayo Saka's future at Arsenal has been a major talking point throughout the summer transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, the Gunners will ramp up their attempts to tie Saka down to a new long-term contract, with Manchester City remaining interested in the England international. The Hale End academy graduate has won the north London club's player of the year award in each of the last two seasons, establishing himself as one of the first names on Mikel Arteta's teamsheet.
He netted 11 goals and provided a further seven assists in the Premier League last season and his excellent form hasn't gone unnoticed either. City are said to have identified him as a potential replacement for Raheem Sterling, who joined Chelsea earlier this week.

Still, it is claimed that there is a feeling around Arsenal that the 20-year-old will commit to a new deal at the Emirates Stadium, something that would be a major boost to Arteta - who is keen to get his side back into the UEFA Champions League as soon as possible. The Spaniard has already signed four first-team players this summer, with technical director Edu spending in excess of £40million to help bolster their squad.
Young winger Marquinhos and experienced goalkeeper Matt Turner have been signed as well as marquee deals for talented midfielder Fabio Vieira and Brazilian centre-forward Gabriel Jesus.
