Not much can align London's football fans to be together. The usual rivalry between Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea is fierce, a bitter battle to be crowned as the greatest team in the capital. Especially with an expected top four crunch match tomorrow between Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel.
There will be a moment tonight, though, probably longer, that even the players at each of the three biggest London clubs look at the TV and social media and laugh. Their supposed Champions League rivals Manchester United being 4-0 down within 35 minutes against Brentford was too much to take.
The Red Devils had a pre-season dominated by Cristiano Ronaldo speculation rather than Erik ten Hag's takeover and subsequent rebuild, and it has told. With only two match weeks being played, United are rock bottom of the league, conceding six goals in 135 minutes of football against Brighton and Brentford.

Not only was David de Gea at fault for the first goal, calling for Arsenal fans to bring their own number one into the conversation, making brutal Aaron Ramsdale comparisons, but Ten Hag's decision to use a short backline also backfired with Brentford scoring from a set-piece, it all felt inevitable in a half where anything could have happened.
Spurs fans were also keen to flex the club's decision to appoint Antonio Conte when United were worried about the negative impact he might have had. Not only have Tottenham started the season with a 4-1 win, but they are also being backed more as title challengers than top four contenders. Meanwhile, Man United already look set for a long, hard season, trailing London's top teams.
As for Chelsea, they were happy to see that one of the potential suitors for Frenkie de Jong were struggling, quick to point out why the Dutchman was so keen not to reunite with Ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Here's how the world reacted on Twitter.
@blthfc: Ten Hag never managed in a top 5 league, and people thought he'd be the man to turn United around. Don't forget them not wanting Conte for playing 'defensive football'. Spurs have scored the most since his arrival
@vanilavie: United really chose Ten Hag over Toni Conte
@Ritchiepreach: United's rebuild will not be easy. Ze Goat must be embarrassed to be in that team. I think they lost it somewhere when they failed to bag Antonio Conte. Not really sure how patient fans will be with Ten Hag.
@HugoHouse7: "It's the players, not Ten Hag!" When Conte came in, he banished Ndombele and Lo Celso and brought in Bentancur. It's as simple as that, the buck always stops with the manager!
@daddyzeeTHFC: No way in the world would Conte be doing this losing 4-0. Show some fight and passion Ten Hag, your body language is as disgraceful as your side's performance.
@SeazonDeano: How can United fans watch Ramsdale play and be happy with De Gea?
@TheShortFuse: Well, David de Gea just ensured that Aaron Ramsdale getting beat at the near post by James Maddison isn't the worst goal conceded of the weekend. Oh dear, that was a HOWLER.
@youlovebelz: When Arsenal spent 30m on Ramsdale because he can play out. You lot thought Arteta was mad. Now, look at De Gea
@UTDMoh_: I'd seriously take Ramsdale over De Gea.
@jackbagley316: I can't for the life of me understand why Frenkie De Jong doesn't want to join @ManUtd bet he'd rather play for Barca for free than come play for this shambles
