Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham told next Brazilian star is ready for Premier League transfer

Another international break is over (with the exception of the Africa Cup of Nations), and just like every period unknown quantities are able to put themselves in the shop window for big transfers.

Ajax's Antony is the latest to have done just that with his impressive showings for Brazil against Ecuador and Paraguay in the World Cup Qualifiers.

The 21-year-old scored from the substitutes' bench in the latter of the two games and his overall performances excited ex-Brazilian icon Rivaldo, who has summarised his thoughts on the Selecao in his latest interview, with Chelsea target Raphinha also receiving some much welcomed praise.

"There were many Brazilian players from the Premier League playing for their national team this week. They took advantage of the opportunity to show their value to the team and keep on track for making the World Cup squad," he said to Betfair.

"Philippe Coutinho, Raphinha, Bruno Guimaraes and Alex Telles confirmed their class, but I must also note Antony's performance. The Ajax player seems ready to make a big move to a Premier League club as well soon."

Big words from the 49-year-old who reckons one of Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs could benefit massively from snapping up one of Erik ten Hag's most valuable assets this season for his young and fresh Ajax outfit.

The ex-attacking midfielder's comments are definitely justified with the left-winger showing his potency in front of goal both on the international and club level.

In the Eredivisie this term, Antony has attained eight goal contributions in just 16 matches and has also amassed an impressive seven goal contributions in just five Champions League group stage games.

On top of these stats, FBref.com back up Rivaldo's claims, as the attacker ranks in the top 10 this season in the league for goals per 90 (7th- 0.56), shots total (8th- 48) and shots total per 90 rate (3rd- 3.83).

These sort of statistics would compliment each of the London trio well with all looking to reinforce in some way in the summer.

Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel is aiming to re-shape his blunt attack whilst Arsenal are on the lookout for new forward players come the end of the season after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left for Barcelona on deadline day.

Spurs have lost Dele Alli but acquired Dejan Kulusevski on loan, so it could be argued that they need him the least out of the London giants.

Alternatively, a side like a West Ham or Crystal Palace could make a play for a player that Rivaldo believes is destined for great things.
