Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all enter Adrien Rabiot race after failed Man United transfer

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been named as potential suitors for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot amid concerns over a new contract in Turn.

Rabiot was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer, but a move failed to materialise after Manchester United's late attempt to sign him. According to French outlet L'Equipe in June, the France international requested to leave Juventus after Chelsea and Newcastle joined United in the list of clubs interested in his services.

Fast forward to the current day, and Juventus face losing the midfielder on a free transfer due to the failed attempt to tie the 27-year-old to a new deal. With his current contract expiring in the summer, Massimiliano Allegri's side may struggle to seek the £15 million price tag they set in the summer.

In January, Rabiot will be eligible to open pre-contract talks with foreign clubs regarding a free transfer in the summer. That means Premier League clubs will be open to move for Rabiot after the World Cup to secure the former PSG star's services for the 2023/24 season.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus are struggling to meet Rabiot's contract demands and are now facing the prospect of losing their box-to-box midfielder. The report from Italy has named Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs as three sides interested, and the World Cup provides Rabiot with a chance to impress the three suitors.

All three sides have been reported to be in the market for a new midfielder after injury and squad depth concerns. The Gunners are considering the January window as a chance to bolster Mikel Arteta's squad depth ahead of their surprise title charge this season, while Graham Potter and his squad have suffered unfortunate injuries since replacing Thomas Tuchel with N'Golo Kante, forced to miss the World Cup.

Tottenham signed Yves Bissouma in the summer from Brighton to strengthen Antonio Conte's midfield, but that hasn't stopped Fabio Paratici from seeking alternative figures in the middle of the park to take the club to the next level.
