Arsenal and Manchester United are scouting 16-year-old Rangers wonderkid Jack Wylie with both clubs holding a long-term interest in the Scotsman. United and Arsenal have had recent success in identifying wonderkids and bringing them into the first-team picture, with Gabriel Martinelli and Alejandro Garnacho announcing themselves for the Gunners and United, respectively, this season.
Martinelli joined Arsenal when he was 18 from Brazilian Serie B side Ituano for £6million and just three years later Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing up a potential £52million move for the Arsenal star who is currently at the World Cup with Brazil.
United poached Garnacho from the Atletico Madrid youth academy for just under £500,000 in 2020 and have since developed him through their academy set up before promoting him into the first-team picture this season.

Both clubs will likely be a tempting option for Wylie, having proven how they can develop young players and with both teams having gone to great lengths to watch Wylie in action this season, it shows that their interest is concrete.
The Daily Star are reporting that Ten Hag has sent scouts to watch Wylie for Rangers in the current campaign, while Arsenal sent chief youth scout Lee Herron to Spain earlier in the year to see Wylie in action for the Scotland U16 side against Denmark.
The Gunners have been looking at Wylie for longer than United and while both have displayed their ability to nurture younger players and make them better, Mikel Arteta likely holds the advantage with what he can offer to Wylie.
It's very possible the teenager could get lost in the shuffle if he joins United, but, as Arteta has shown with his faith in William Saliba and Martinelli, Wylie could be the next big name to emerge having made monumental strides in his development with an eventual loan move and the one-to-one training that can be undertaken in north London.
