Arsenal can repeat their transfer trick which saw Leandro Trossard arrive at the Emirates Stadium in January by signing Eintracht Frankfurt star Jesper Lindstrom. Trossard completed a £27million move from Brighton to bolster Mikel Arteta's attacking options with the Belgian forward being able to play anywhere in across the front line.
The Gunners added Jorginho and Jakub Kiwior to Arteta's squad with both players offering a similar versatility to Trossard in midfield and defence. Sporting director Edu Gaspar was tasked with reinforcing the playing squad with players that can cover multiple positions in key areas as Arsenal continue their Premier League title challenge.
Defeats against Everton and Manchester City, along with a controversial draw against Brentford, have seen the north Londoners slip down into second place. Arsenal will hope to reclaim top spot with a win in their game in hand later this season ahead of another big summer transfer window that could see the squad change drastically once again.

Frankfurt youngster Lindstrom is thought to be open to a move to England with Arsenal interested in signing the Danish international. According to CIES Football Observatory, Lindstrom is valued at €35million (£31.2million) and is a versatile midfielder who is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career so far.
The 22-year-old has seven goals and four assists in the Bundesliga this season and has the ability to play as an attacking midfielder whilst also having the capabilities and quality to act as a defensive midfielder. According to Sport1, Lindstrom is keen on a move to the Premier League with Arsenal among the many clubs said to be interested in signing the young midfielder.
Lindstrom is under contract until 2026, so it won’t be easy to prise him away from Frankfurt. Adding versatile players to the Gunners' squad would be beneficial as shown with the additions of Trossard, Jorginho and Kiwior.
Liverpool and City have shown in the past few seasons that having a strong squad with players that can cover different areas of the pitch when injuries strike can stabilise and help a Premier League title charge. Pep Guardiola showed on Wednesday night that he can rely on versatility to pick up results as Bernardo Silva operated in a new role at left-back, whilst Nathan Ake, Kyle Walker, Rodri and Phil Foden also provide cover away from their main positions.
A deal for Lindstrom would fit into Arsenal's vision of signing young talents that can develop under Arteta. The 22-year-old midfielder is catching the eye with his performances in the Bundesliga and the Gunners may look to secure a deal for him in the summer given their injury problems in midfield this season.
