Corinthians starlet Pedrinho is the latest player to be linked with a summer transfer to Arsenal.
Brazilian transfer guru Neto has reported on his Os Donos da Bola show that the Gunners are keen to sign the talented youngster, who is just 17 years old. As per Transfermarkt, Pedrinho has featured just 15 times for Corinthians' first-team but the young winger has impressed, netting five times in just 629 minutes, working out at a goal every 126 minutes - hugely impressive when you consider his age.
Mikel Arteta's side have been known to dip into the South American market in recent times, particularly Brazil, with sporting director Edu previously operating as the general coordinator of the Brazil national team. One of the most successful signings in recent times came back in the summer of 2019 when the north Londoners recruited 17-year-old winger Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano.

Martinelli was signed for just £6million at the time following a breakthrough campaign with the Sao Paulo-based outfit and he has been a huge success since. The talented attacker is coming off the back of a highly productive season, one in which he scored 15 Premier League goals and provided a further five assists - making him the club's joint-top scorer in the league along with captain Martin Odegaard.
Martinelli and Odegaard's form helped Arsenal sustain their first league title race under Arteta's stewardship before Manchester City eventually pipped them to the title. But there are plenty of reasons to be positive ahead of next season considering the Gunners' current squad is the second-youngest in the English top-flight.
Speaking about their season to the club's official media team, Arteta said: “We have achieved reaching the Champions League with five or six games to go and we’ve finished second. I think we have developed a lot of players and taken them to a very different stage of their careers and they have contributed to the team exceptionally well.
"We have created and developed a huge relationship with our fanbase and created something special around the team. So if I look at it that way, there are a lot of positives to take from the season, probably more than was expected with the capacity, ability and resources the team had.
