Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall has taken responsibility for the defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.
The Gunners found themselves 2-0 down at halftime after goals from Lauren Hemp and Chloe Kelly, while Rafaelle Souza handed them a lifeline in the second half to make it 2-1. However, Arsenal were unable to claw back a second goal and it was the Manchester club who claimed all three points.
Eidevall admitted his team were too loose in possession but says the defeat lies solely on his shoulders. It was in stark contrast to his team's performance on Wednesday night when they beat the same opponents 1-0 in the Continental Cup semi-final.

"We lost possession way too many times," he said in an interview with Sky Sports post-match. "Especially in very dangerous areas.
"If that's the formation or if it's the positioning at that time, we need to review that of course. But when you lose possession in those dangerous areas, it's going to be very difficult to win football matches."
Despite defensive errors that proved to be costly, the Gunners looked to change things at the break with Lotte Wubben-Moy and Caitlin Foord making way for Katie McCabe and Lia Walti. However, it was to little avail as some problems continued despite their best efforts.
The Arsenal boss added: "It's 100 per cent my responsibility that we didn't win today. Of course, that's why we need to look at the game and we tried to implement changes during the game as well.
"The effort is there. The players worked really hard, they tried their best. Today, we didn't win and that's my responsibility, I'll look and see how we can be better."
