Youri Tielemans has refused to rule out a departure from Leicester this summer amid interest from Arsenal.
Entering the final year of his contract at the King Power Stadium, midfielder Tielemans is understood by Standard Sport to want a move to a Champions League club for next season yet the Gunners hold out hope of completing a £30million deal.
While on duty with the Belgium squad this month, Tielemans addressed his future during Tuesday’s press conference.
On the topic of a summer transfer, he told reporters: “That is not out of the question. I feel very good at Leicester, I was welcomed with open arms from day one. I give everything for the club until the last day.
“But of course you have to listen to other opportunities, you have to look at your career, and sometimes you have to make choices. Maybe one will come my way.”
Tielemans is thought to be among Mikel Arteta’s top transfer targets for the market, which officially opens in the coming days. Barcelona, Real Madrid and Tottenham are also interested in his services.
Ruben Neves of Wolves is one alternative for Arsenal, who are also tracking a striker and have been heavily linked with Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and Gianluca Scamacca of Sassuolo.
