Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have all been credited with interest in signing former Chelsea star Alvaro Morata.
The Gunners are reportedly keen on signing the Spanish striker, who is due to return to Atletico Madrid this summer after a two-year loan spell back at Juventus. Mikel Arteta’s side are on the hunt for a new striker with Alexandre Lacazette leaving at the end of this month to return to Lyon.
Elsewhere, it is claimed that Newcastle are also monitoring Morata’s future in their hunt for a new striker this summer, while Tottenham are said to be weighing up a move for the 29-year-old.
Mundo Deportivo report that while Juventus are keen to have him back, they are not willing to pay his £30million asking price, having already spent £17m on loan deals for him. Morata scored 12 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions last season for the Old Lady, helping them qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Arsenal are thought to be on the hunt for two new strikers this summer with Lacazette leaving following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's departure in January, though Eddie Nketiah is expected to sign a new contract.
Newcastle are also keen to add a new centre forward this summer and have been heavily linked with Stade de Reims’ Hugo Ekitike and Everton ’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin. However, a move for either of them is yet to materialise and CalcioMercato claim Newcastle have made enquiries regarding Morata's availability.

Tottenham 's links with Morata, as reported by the Daily Star, would see him be reunited with former boss Antonio Conte, who bought him to Chelsea from Real Madrid in 2017.
Morata only joined Atletico permanently in 2020 after an 18-month loan spell from Chelsea but was sent straight on loan to Juventus for the 2020/21 campaign, where he stayed for the following season, racking up 32 goals in 92 games across his two-season spell.
With only a year left on his contract, Atletico are now under pressure to cash in this summer rather than lose Morata for nothing next year. He is currently on international duty with Spain and won his 54 th senior cap on Sunday during a 2-2 draw with the Czech Republic in the second of his country’s four UEFA Nations League matches this month.
In their first game, Morata scored the opener during Spain’s 1-1 draw with Portugal. His record of 26 international goals puts him seventh on the country’s list of all-time goalscorers.
